DIY Design #1

DIY Design #1 is a FULL 12x28 Unit. This unit is completely unfinished but we can add any package that you want!

DIY Design #2 is a 16x32 Tier 3. This unit has walls studded for a bathroom and bedroom. It also has a complete bathroom setup with wiring and insulation throughout.

Live Large in a Tiny Space: Customizable Tiny Homes by Shivers Buildings

These DIY Tiny Homes can be finished out to whatever extent the customer wants. We have broken the finished product down into three tiers depending on how much the customer would like to finish out themselves. 

All of our DIY Tiny Homes come with 3/4″ tongue & groove plywood placed on treated 2×6′ floor joists that are on 16″ centers. This makes for a strong foundation that ill last and support the weight needed for any standard household appliance/furniture.

Shivers Window Options

Windows:

  • Tiny Homes come standard with 3 2×3″ 8-grid windows
  • More customer windows can be added per customer request
Shivers Porch Options

Porch:

  • Porches are 4′
  • Metal can be added on porch facing
  • Porch beams are 4×6′

Bathrooms:

  • Vanities are 24″
  • Delta Brand Showers & Toilets
  • Our Standard is a full bath but you have the option for a half bath
Shivers Lighting Options

Lighting:

  • Interior Lights are Soft Recessed Lighting
  • An Additional Porch Light can be Added Per Request
Shivers Door Options

Doors:

  • Tiny Homes come standard with 1 exterior door
  • These doors are 36×79″ nine panel doors
Shivers Wall Options

Walls:

  • We offer 1×6″ Tongue & Groove Pine Walls
  • These are beautiful left as is, or you can paint or stain them (or we can per customer request!)
