BOOK KEEPER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team, specializing in QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing high volumes of transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and collaborating with various departments.

Full-Time, In-Person Position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Record and categorize daily transactions using QuickBooks.

2. Reconcile all bank accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.

3. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management, with a focus on closing books by the 15th of the following month.

4. Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Delivery, and other departments to streamline financial processes.

5. Work closely with our accountant to facilitate effective communication and keep the company's interests at the forefront.

6. Assist in creating better processes and procedures to enhance overall financial efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Extensive experience with QuickBooks is a must.

2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing a high volume of transactions.

3. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with different departments and our accountant.

4. Ability to generate basic daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.

5. Proactive mindset to contribute to the development of improved reporting for quick decision-making.

6. Familiarity with daily financial operations and the ability to support long-term financial goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • GED or high school diploma preferred but not required
  • Strong presentation skills
